Using our resources for older students Our resources are designed for pupils in the older years of primary schools and in secondary schools.  However, they may also be useful in other contexts. College staff know their students best and are best placed to decide what’s important to measure and understand and how their students might respond to the questionnaires.

Some of the questionnaires included in our modular survey booklets may feel appropriate for your setting. Consider the language used as well as the questions being asked. It’s likely that older students may respond differently so do bear this in mind when analysing responses.

Our step by step guide would also be useful if you’re planning a survey for all students as many of the considerations will be very similar.

The Wellbeing Measurement Framework for Colleges, includes questionnaires that were specifically chosen to measure key aspects of wellbeing and resilience in college students.

Understanding staff wellbeing

Our staff survey has been used by colleges and sixth forms to understand their staff teams. Our survey could help you to understand the wellbeing of your staff and how they feel about the support systems in your college as well as their knowledge of mental health and wellbeing and confidence to support students.  If you’re interested in running the survey then do get in touch at: measuringwellbeing@annafreud.org

Tailored support

We have experience of working with colleges carrying out surveys and evaluating the impact of support.  If you’d like to discuss how we could help you, please get in touch at: measuringwellbeing@annafreud.org
