CORC helps services and organisations that support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in a variety of ways:
-
To measure and demonstrate impact; including the development of useful Theories of Change, outcomes frameworks, data collection plans and protocols
-
To use outcomes data with service users, in teams and at service level to improve the quality and effectiveness of support; sharing data appropriately with staff at different levels to engage them in discussion and improvement planning.
-
To develop staff competencies and confidence with outcome measures and data; including designing and delivering engaging staff training and guidance
-
To developing best practice implementation of outcome measures and data; allowing services to review their outcomes approach against a set of best practice principles and establish an associated improvement plan
-
To analyse and report on outcomes data so that it is relevant and useful to different stakeholders or audiences; services can submit their outcomes data to CORC for analysis and reporting or access expert guidance on how to do this themselves.
